This three day conference brings together research scientists, experts, and professionals from around the world to discuss a wide range of topics related to meteorology for air quality applications. This year’s conference will take place from September 13 - 15th in Davis, California.

As you continue to plan ahead for participating in MAC-MAQ 2023, please make note of the following important dates:

To ensure you receive information about the Call for Abstracts, please sign up for the MAC-MAQ mailing list here. Then be sure to add the email address "airqualityevents@ucdavis.edu" to your address book and organization's white-list to avoid spam blockers.

A Call for Abstracts will go out on March 20, 2023

Abstracts should relate to one or more of the following topics:

  • M3: Merging Measurements & Models
  • Modeling of Processes Across Multiple Scales
  • Meteorology-Chemistry Coupling, Feedbacks, and Interactions
  • Breakthrough Innovations in Atmospheric & Air Quality Modeling
  • Unique/Extreme Events and their Impacts on Meteorology and Air Quality
  • Composition and Operational Forecasting from Daily to Seasonal Scales

When the Call for Abstracts goes out, you will need to include a title, abstract, presenting author's organization information and biography and information on the additional authors. Abstracts will need to be no more than 1500 characters (including punctuation/spaces).

Each proposal may be submitted for consideration to your top three sessions for review and you are permitted to submit more than one abstract. Abstracts that are not chosen for a Podium Presentation will have the opportunity to give a Poster Presentation.
